| The University of California, San Diego (UCSD) is pre-qualifying several firms to act as commissioning agents on UCSD projects for a period of three years to meet United States Green Building Council (USGBC) Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) commissioning (Cx) requirements for campus projects. Interested firms must show evidence of providing similar commissioning services for a minimum of three years. Over the next three years, UCSD will be executing approximately seven to ten projects that will require commissioning services. These projects will build and renovate in excess of 1,000,000 OVERALL Gross Square Feet (OGSF). The objective is to conduct a comprehensive commissioning process for each project and to meet the LEED Cx requirements. UCSD Facilities Design & Construction (FD&C) would assign a pre-qualified Cx agent firm as determined through this selection process to one or more appropriate projects Proposals are due no later than 4:00 p.m., Friday, November 20, 2009. |
